Being surrounded by such breath-taking countryside and exhilarating walks it only seems fair that we welcome your well-behaved four legged friends to join you.


All dogs visiting Forthay are greeted by our very sociable cockapoos, Monte, Margot and Molly. Owners can also be assured we have;


- Dog safe garden
- Dog beds and bowls available for rooms

- Heated dog shower and towels

- £15 per dog per night max 2 dogs per room unless previously agreed.
- Dog sitting available half or full day (additional charge) 

- Dogs cannot be left unaccompanied in bedrooms unless in a crate

We are surrounded by stunning dog walks all from our front door, situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)

Whether you are looking for a quick 20 minute sprint around a field, a couple of hours exploring the beautiful woodland or a full day out on the Cotswold Way, it is all possible from the house and doesn’t involve any driving.

Heated Dog Showers

After all of that fresh air, running around the open countryside and having the Best time, as you would expect, dogs get muddy. Not a problem, Forthay provide heated dog showers and towels to clean and refresh.
